In 16 years plus of married life I could never convince my husband to travel anywhere let alone Bali. His brother had been and hated it so no way was he going. It was not until after our separation that I was able to convince him to use his FF points to go to Bali with us and if it hadnt been that he actually booked them and it was going to cost him to cancel I am certain that he would have done this. Bali touched his soul as it has done to so many other people, he was able to relax and be at peace for the first time in a long time (something I find I can only do when in Bali)... being a Police Officer this is something he so needed to do. He loved the people and had a great time at Waterbom Park, enjoyed some spa treatments, thoroughly enjoyed our few nights on Lembongan Island and in Ubud. He was very sad to leave and said to me that he was soo greatful that I had convinced him to go. I think you either love Bali or you hate it ... those that hate it I feel focus on the negatives of the island and fail to see the beauty and perhaps this is the way they are in life also ... how a person could not be touched by the beauty of the people there is hard for me to understand but there are those whose hearts n souls simply do not allow beauty to touch them.
