Nyepi Day 9th April ?

Hi Guys,
I have just read a tourist brochure saying Sat 9th April 2005 is Nyepi Day, and that shops may also close for up to 5 days. Is this correct ? We will be arriving this day. Can anyone advise please ? Thanks heaps.
