left (east) of Padang Bai (when you are facing out towards the harbour). PB is in east bali about 15 minutes drive before Candi Dasa. There are signs at the end of the beach road and it is a 5-10 walk over the headland to B.L. where you'll find about 3 warung serving cold bintang, meals/snacks and bali kopi. You can hire snorkels and flippers all day for 20,000 rp. and there are colourful fish and some coral to see about 8 -10 metres from the beach. A pleasant place to spend an afternoon and friendly locals, including a few friendly hawkers who don't hassle too much. If visiting say hi to Ayu who has one of the warungs. Maybe take her a soft toy for her 10 m.o. child - if you see the baby with a Plucka Duck, it's come from me!
