there (recommended by Smokey & Carol) and we loved it and will stay there again. We were in Room 225 which faced a little garden with water features. The room had twin beds, a little 'tired' could do with a fresh coat of paint, but the hot water was good, air con worked well and the refrigerator cold. Verandah out the front with 2 chairs and table. The swimming pool was very clean and right next to the pathway which stretches about 2 km along the clean beach. Staff really friendly. If you want to go sailing ask for Ronny (No. 82 - mention Annie from Melbourne), who's out the front of Besakih at the beach. He'll take you sailing 90,000 rp per hour (1 person) and is a great hand at finding the wind for sailing. Best to go around 11 am when the tide is in. Have fun!
