I agree make sure you repeatedly request a cot/bassinette seat, although I found the Aust end of the flight, not at all helpful & basically disregarded the requests to put somne over weight persons there instead, even though I got there 3 hours+ before the flight, all they did was smile & say we will see what we can do!
I was stuck in a window seat with a 9 wk old, next to a 23yr old guy, trying to feed, etc!!! Difficult, but we managed! But in Bali each time no matter what time I checked in they always waived me up to the bassinette seat! They also have always ushered me through back doors etc to get out of customs etc quicker, so you should be fine, I used to travel Ansett, but have recently become an advocate for Air Paradise! They do go out of their way to comfort children, I have noticed this with distressed young babies on flights.
You should contact the Indo Embassy in OZ & arrange the 60 day visa ASAP!!! Best of luck & I hope your holiday helps in your healing!
My sympathy & condolences!!!!
