We have stayed at the LBH 2 times last year.
We had Deluxe Villa No. 5 the first time and No. 6 the next time.
Stayed at the Mandira (which is next door to the LBH) Dec 04 / Jan 05
Will be going back to Bali in April - staying again at the LBH for various reasons.
Really I think you will be ok anywhere ... never found it to be noisy either around the pool, at the restaurant, around the grounds, nor in the room. Friends stayed in what we dubed the "commiss block" which is up on the main driveway in ... closer to Melasti St. They never said it was noisy at all - we only went into their room once though.
