I agree with less choice at Matahari for women than men. My hubby got heaps of stuff (about 10 outfits) and suit gear but I was really struggling. There is also a psychological barrier to having to buy L or XL clothes when you are only size 8!! I couldnt buy anything when I went to Thailand because I was too big for all their clothes!!
Tailors might be best option, copying from picture perhaps?

Also found that slightly different styles in Bali than Perth - all pants were high waisted and shirts were shorter, more midriff style, not really my thing. Didnt try any dresses though.
Watching this thread with interest as I have never really been able to satisfy new clothes desire in Asia anywhere!
