Geoff had his 44th B'day in Bali in Jan.
We went to La Lucciola for dinner ... very nice.
Another good place would be Ku De Ta ... went there for b'day breakfast.
There is other places as well - a great list of them, I am just assuming you are staying around the Legian / Kuta area - yes ?
With both these places just get a taxi.
Both these places are $$$, yet very nice for a special meal.
Both of these places you will be watching the sun set from where you are sitting (mmm, just love it).
If you are going for dinner - book !
We booked La Lucciola about 4 days before - and got a table on the ground level yet right out front on the edge (if you choose this place - ask for this when you book), so the breeze was nice and no one in front of us. try and get to either around 6pm so you can relax, have a drink and watch the sun set (around 6.30pm)
