before we went in Sep/Oct 03.The travel warnings were agin in the news and we were returning on the 1st anniversary of the bombing of the Sari club.I honestly lost sleep over our decision. I asked everbody's opinion and of course that differed from person to person also.In the end we made the decision to go and once i had done that I decided that I had to just "go with it " and we had a fantastic time where I felt safe but was still wary.Since then my hubby and I went for a week in May04 and just as we were leaving the travel warnings were again in the news ( and most think they have actually put out new warnings but so far they are the same warnings since the bombing ).I then worried because I was leaving my kids behind !! ( really you cant say which is best ).Now in a few weeks my daughter and I are going again and I feel totally comfortable with this decision.It really has to be your own decision but I am sure you will feel totally safe once you are there.I still try to be aware of situations but really who knows how these sick people think and we cant live our lives being afraid to live can we !
