You didn't say how sick you had been. I was so sick on one trip that I couldn't fly home. My travel contact in Bali called a doctor who gave me an injection. I flew home 2 days later. Lucky the hotel wasn't fully booked. My insurance company paid up quickly. I got sick at an upmarket restaurant but no one else did.
