The cost is based on a percentage of a full economy ticket. I forget what the percentage is. You are lucky though flying to UK it would be much more. I have had to pay excess at London flying to Bali when I took a beautiful shrine that I had bought at a hindu temple. It ended costing a fortune, New bigger suitcase to fit in, excess baggage but I never seen a shrine as nice over there!
