Go to Tragia. It's up the road a little. No so good for clothes shopping but do what we do - buy your water and Bintangs etc there...empty your mini bar out and use your bought stocks. mini bar prices are so expensive. You can walk there and catch a shuttle back with your goodies.Between the Sheraton and The Westin you can start happy hours at 11am and finish at 10pm if you bar hop...hehe..trust me, been there done that.We are heading over yet again 10th April and you will really enjoy the Nusa Dua area.The Westin is right next door to the Sheraton Laguna. you can book up meals and drinks at both hotels back to your room. Get yourself a Sheraton card here in Aust ($200) and you will get all of your non included meals for 50% off. All of the hotels in Nusa Dua are great. We go and drink at a few as there are plenty of bars to hop to. A cab to Kuta will cost around 50,000RP and it's around 20 minutes. We have a driver who is very good. Have been to Bali quite a few times and have just sent him an email to collect us from the airport this trip around.His name is Nyoman and he speaks really good english. you can email him at nyoman_arnawa@yahoo.com He will take you for day trips or if you need airport rides etc. As for DVD shops..basically they are everywhere. Nusa Dua markets are good for bargins even though some people say that are not..The locals at the Nusa Dua markets have a reputation for being pricey due to the area they are in. THis is not so. you can pick up really good bargins there. If you keep walking up a block or two you will find Tragia.It's like a minimart and alas the Galleria was pretty much closed apart from a few shops in August when I was last there. Great bargins in Kuta and Legian though. I went to travelx to change some aussie dollars this morning at the rate here is 6440. The rate in bali is approx 6700 so change get around 100,000rp to get you to your hotel via taxi/driver and change the rest there. Any more questions let me know and enjoy your holiday.
