Watch them wrap your purchases. On my first trip to Bali I bought canvases at a very large expensive Gallery in Ubud. I didn't unpack them because they were all packaged safely for the trip home. When I opened them up in Oz, I found the canvases I paid for had been "exchanged" for prints on cardboard.
