I bought my PS2 with a chip in it, at Bali in 2004. Once a PS2 is chipped the warrantee is void anyway. So I would recomend you take your PS2 to Bali and have it chipped if that is what you would like to do. We took the PS2 back to Bali last month for the kids to use in the motel as well as to check the games and DVDs all worked well. Which they all worked out of about 100. You need to have a PS2 romote control to play the DVDs. Dont forget to take it.
