I dont remember my first purchase but on my first trip to Bali I swapped my wedding ring for a picture I had fallen in love with. It was okay cos this trip was my "getting over my breakup" trip so you could say it gave me closure.
I sold the picture a few years ago at a boot sale before my move to Lombok.
