Hi, we are newcomers to the forum, so a big hello and hi to you all. Just want to say to you all that we wish we had known about this site months ago. We stayed at Amed for 3 days last month and we have to agree with "Rangi" it is just majestic and serene. I snorkelled with my husband (never done that b4) we relaxed and relaxed and relaxed. We walked (something I only do running around the office in the high pressure job that I think I have) We talked to locals, rode on a motor bike ( head buried in back of Katook's head and eyes closed) all the time he was laughing telling me what a wonderful view I was missing. Snorkelled of the japenese wreck and what a "wow" factor that had on us. Sorry to have to leave to go back to mainstream in Legian and we will definately go back next trip. We stayed at Wawa Wewe No. II but I can't find a website. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Cost us 240,000 rup to go there and and 220,00 to come back, depending on car, weather, road traffic etc it took 3 hours. Scenery was just wonderful in parts. No night life except for cafe and that the magic, just relax. Cheers and and have a wonderful time if you there. Barbara & Tony
