I don't know about international flights but have recently travelled on Qantas, domestic, and been in the row with bassinettes. I need the bulkhead row for room to move my legs so have come across the bassinettes. The mothers who used them found them very helpful as it allowd them to eat in comfort and the baby to sleep. On one trip the bassinette was right in front of me and I still had room to eat. Getting out of the seat was a little bit more difficult but could still be managed. If there is any turbulence you do have to close it up. If you do have a young baby and the international flights have bassinettes I would recommend you use it. have a great flight
Cheers
