Hi There, you can probably get your PS2 chipped in Australia. Will cost you slightly more than Helgi is offering, but in Australia you will have a workmanship warranty and a place of contact should anything fail....bali is a bit too far to get Helgi to fix it (although he would fix it if you were in bali).

I recently got my Xbox chipped in Brissie, cost me $110 (including the chip) was done within an hour and have not had a problem (or so the kids tell me).

I too used Helgi when I went to Bali and would do business with him anytime, he was punctual, polite, well spoken and really friendly, he was honest about the quality of the DVD's etc. But, really, what do you expect of the quality when you are only paying about $1.50 aussie for the DVD?

Save your luggage space, check out the trading post for places that do mod chips (and there's lots of them) and get the PS2 done when you get home.

Happy shopping.
