at Ramada Bintang in Sept 2004. Surely it is safer than one at reception? Have seen ONE post that CLAIMED their room one was broken into though. Only some money went missing and hotel (don't remember which one) went to great lengths to prove their innocence. Have also seen a post where a passport was stolen from a bag poolside at Tjampuhan in Ubud - only hotel staff around. So what else can you do? Have to put it in safe somewhere or watch bags 100% of the time!
