Love that expression (LOL)! I get this when we go to our holiday place down the south coast. It's only an hour and a half from home, but I still get it. It's the water.
Touch wood we've never had real BB, more from good luck than good management I'd say. We are very strict about personal hygiene, and admittedly do avoid the carts (although maybe this year we'll try them, as there have been so many good reports about them).
Take the usual precautions, and pack the usual remedies, but don't waste your holiday worrying about it. Life's too short.
