If you're flying domestic from Brisbane to Sydney then international to Denpasar, don't you have to collect your bags from domestic terminal, then take them and check them onto international flight? If so, wouldn't she have noticed the size and extra weight in her board bag?
Or do your bags get put straight onto your international flight?
Before I get lynched, I'm NOT saying she's guilty!
Another thought. If you're trafficking drugs on domestic flights wouldn't you at least use an opaque bag?
The only plausible conclusion to me is that she (at random because her bag was easy to get into) was set up in Bali by a group (i.e. terrorists) trying to discourage westerners visiting.
