Last year my sister-inlaw had a temp tattoo just above her ankle. After a few days it blistered and weeped, that area of her leg became swollen, very hot and red. After another day or two, she began to feel nauseas and dizzy and the tattoo became very infected. ( She had bathed it in salt water and applied bettadine at the onset of problems). She had to go to a doctor and was prescribed antibiotics and a soloution to bathe the area. She has permanent scarring now!(and this doesn't resemble the tattoo).
A young lad in the room next to us had very similar reaction.
but on the other hand- my son had a temp tattoo and all was fine.
However after seeing 2 very unwell people, i would advise against it. It spoiled a few days of their holiday.
