Villa 8 is not situated close to the beach at all.
We walked up Jalan Oberoi for about 15 minutes, but didn't get to the beach, so I don't know exactly how far away it was! Ended up in a bar instead of further exploring the area!!
There is no view at the villas at all, each is surrounded by high walls and so enclosed in the compound, which is very quiet and private.
I have also looked at Villa Dhyana and a friend of mine raved about staying there, so I might try them next trip!
