..sorry could'nt resist. Generally on economy fares you cannot get seats allocated in advance. To be honest I'm not sure there is such thing as "good seats".. they are all much the same. There are two things you can do.
1. Phone the airline and ask for advice. YOu may be surprised at how helpful they can be!
2. Turn up as early as possible before the flight (bearing in mind you don't wanna be in an airport for five hours with five kids!).
