We had them packaged in plastic by the shop and we bound them together ourselves with loads of tape. We flew AA and thankfully we were lucky enough not to get charged with any excess baggage, as we were over the limit. I had to sign a form saying that we had not packaged up this item of luggage properly and AA qould not ve responsible for any damages.
They were perfect when we got back to Perth! The fragile stickers helped that we put all over the pacakge. So very pleased with the staff at AA.
