someone else suggested a photo and someone else suggested setting this man up rather than perhaps jumping in with (although) the best of intentions, possibly warning him, which would then obviously just make them change their tactics.
I worry that the same story has been repeated so many times and I think they must have had some success or why would they keep using the same lure.
Which leads me to think that perhaps they are making movies or similar, rather than directly interferring with our boys.
I won't be returning to Bali until at least 2006 and I would certainly not want to set my son up as bait.
However, having given this matter great thought, I would, if it were to happpen again, possibly play along a bit by finding out where the tennis court (if there even is one) was and so forth.
Would also try discreetly to get photos of the people concerned.
Would ask the white man for a light and maybe even strike up a conversation to find out a bit more about him.
(personally I am not overly concerned with the Indonesian, only because - as although what he is doing is wrong, I think he could easily be replaced by someone else or there could already be more than one scouting around.)
Then I don't know. Take my concerns to the proper authorities I suppose and/or to the embassy of the nationality concerned.
As we all know some of these paedophile rings are very sophisticated and if this is in that category it would not take much for (one of us) the person taking the photo and making accusations to end up without the camera and possibly on false charges in jail.
This is a very serious matter which could be very dangerous for anyone who tries to unveil it. A matter that I have become obsessed with after seeing that disgusting man drool over and ogle my son.
I have read and reread every post on the topic.
I doubt if any of our group could recognise the Indonesian man conclusively but have no doubt that we could the white man.
