decided not to go to work today i think i have a touch of bali belly anyway back to the elepant park, cant remembered how much we payed to get in but what ever it was it was well worth it , never will you be up so close to an elephant anywhere else. we arived there and our guide took us straight down to where the elphants were to go for a ride , the ride went for about 50 mins , it took a little getting use to as you wobbled back and forth very hard to try and video someone, but while we were waiting for the others to catch up the drivers took our cameras and took some great shots of us and the elphants smiling and playing the mouth organ. we were on a 15 year old female her name was nopee, while on the ride we went through a few small villages and banana plantations we also went for a dip in the lake, a little scary but all went well.we we arrived back we went to take a few more photos while they done a little show for us putting flowers over our heads and smiling again. we also got to feed them and sit on there knees. we headed down to the arena where 3 of the elephants done another show walking on planks, standing up on there back legs, playing basketball and soccer. they had a little 4 year old named ryan he played soccer better than my 23 year old named ryan, he scored a goal.after the show we went to watch them do some painting and you could buy them if you wanted too. included in our cost was lunch in the resturant so we headed there to have some lunch. it was great one of the best meals so far, plenty to choices from soup, rice, noodles satays, chicken, friut and cakes. fantastic day.
went to padma club for dinner, cant remember what we had but it was around the 250 rp mark for 2 courses and plenty of bintang. toilets clean but a little smelly.
next day started off with a walk on the beach again as we are early rises went for about 1 and a half hours came back met everyone for breakfast, breakfast was good anything we wanted we only had to ask, omelettes were great with toms, capsican and onions. took the guys around to mataharis for a little more shopping ,told them not to take the papers that they were handing out or not to fill out any servays. stayed in there and around the surf shops for quite awhile then myself and husband walked from kuta to legaian to the jayakarta hotel to have a few drinks with our friends on the beach. while we were there my husband hand a massage from made and i got my toes done with polish and little flowers from wendy. brought a few things from them as well sarongs and wallets. after having done all that we had run out of money and i still owed them about 70 rp but wendy said , no problem you pay me later, so off we went. met all the others by the bar in the resturant at the seaview cottages for pre dinner drinks and then we went to koris for dinner. had garlic bread which came out in a stand and had the best ceaser salad i have ever tasted, then i had an australian stone grill prime beef that melted in your mouth and a chocolate brownie sandwich for dessert, plenty of bintangs and couple of cocktails. between 4 of us who roughly had the same, our bill came to 658,000rps so we gave them 700,000 altogether and they cough have the rest for tip, which is just under $5o bucks a couple , you cant complain about that.there is no where in melbourne you could eat and drink like that for that price. that was my 2ad best place and the toilets were very clean. also great place for a birthday. anyway now that i didnt go to work i have to get dinner organized so i will be back to right some more later about grean garden spa and aristacat sailing.
