I have not stayed at Bali Hai but have walked through a couple of times. I have stayed at BGH and would not recommend it to anyone especially someone on their honeymoon. The pool is not great, the stools at the bar are slimy (yuk) the mats that go on the deck chairs are never cleaned and are filthy every morning, the gardens in the hotel are a mess, our little terrace garden was full of cigarette butts when we arrived and were not cleaned out until we asked after 3 days even though they swepted out there when they cleaned the rooms and finally the bath towels were clean but so old and scratcy and grey and treadbare. I know that this is a 3 star hotel and not the Ritz but these are easy things to maintain.
