that my 7 yr old particularly likes is we normally have our driver Made Mangku pick us up by 8am head towards Ubud stop at kite factory where theyre making the kites and usually always buy a few for pressies then onto Bali Zoo park which is great close to the animals can have photos with snakes,toucan iguana etc. then a quick stroll through the monkey forest WITHOUT any food then to centre of Ubud to the Lotus cafe for lunch which has a lovely outlook and be back at the hotel for an aftie swim by 2-3 pm. I think sometimes if the days too long it gets a bit much for the kids always better to head out around 8 before its too hot. Judi..
