I have seen them near Kuta but we were advised to go to the market at Sukawati (NE of Denpassar)... we bought one from one of the stalls where they make them at the side of the road just before Sukawati. There's lots to choose from in that area, sort of cottage industry. Taxi ride was cheap enough.
Don't remember what we paid, but saved heaps on the market & Kuta prices.
Tight.
