Hi there Julia, I bought some stoneware last year and spoke to Harry Kellerman and Trish. Everything was very easy and smooth going (see Back to Bali reports done a couple of weeks ago by me).
The costs are:(based on the goods evaluation)
5% duty on goods
10% GST on goods
Freight cost/m3
GST on Freight.
It tends to work out that if you double the price of the goods that you are looking at, you are about right in covering all of the other costs including freight. I was told this and came out a little cheaper. It was much better than buying here. Since we don't get a lot of containers coming to Perth, you might have a little wait, but I bought in October, last year, and got the goods in Jan. Sometimes though, they have a container there waiting to be filled. Trish will be able to help you with that.
