The total charges will be the per cubic metre rate plus duty plus 10% GST.
(I am told that duty is generally 5% on most goods, but for cushions and blinds it can be 10%).
The container hasn't arrived yet, so will see charges once it gets here.
Try to buy furniture that might be able to be flat packed or else fill in the gaps with other purchases, to take advantage of the space you are using and being charged in the container. eg - if buying pots, try to get ones that fit into each other, so less space is used up!
