Hi Alanna,
I contacted both villas directly through their websites and booked and paid deposits before we arrived and confirmed all details just before we departed and had no problems at all. Sometimes agents don't even know about these smaller villas and direct you to larger hotels.
Being there in Feb/March was either low or shoulder season, so I expect in Dec it will cost slightly more as can be peak season.
But we paid the following:
Villa 8 - $US110 per night for 2 adults, included all taxes, charges and breakfast. Complimentary airport pick-up too.
ABN - $US120 per night that also included taxes, charges and breakfast, the 3-hour drive was extra charge.
The Puri cost us $US105 per night and not such good value for money.
The villas have so much more space and large water dispensers, rather than relying on small bottles in a tiny fridge! I also liked having a private plunge pool at Villa 8 too.
Hope that helps with the planning!
Caroline
