Yes there is a much cheaper option but you have to stay the night. The perama leaves from Sanur each morning at 10.30, have to be there at 10 and it costs 45,000rp each way. Accomodation on the island usually 50,000rp to 100,000rp per room per night. No need to book. The boat returns at 8.30 the next morning. It is a traditional outrigger boat and great way to go.
