Husband and I did it 12 months ago. Hired bike for 5 days and went out through Tanah Lot up the west coast to Negara and Gillimanuk and across to Lovina. Then came back down thru the centre over the mountains via Munduk and Bedugal. Both in our early fifties, we looked a sight sharing the bike but had the best time ever. Saw and experienced more being on the bike and it gave us the freedom to go to more out of the way places. Would recommend a 250cc bike if available as the 125cc struggled up the mountain in Munduk and we had a guy from the hotel take me up on his bike and hubby slowly came along behind!!! No problem with traffic, just follow the flow!! and we were not pulled over by police at all. We took it all slowly and would do it again tomorrow, planning east coast next time. Hubby had not been on a bike for 30 years. I say go for it, you will have a ball.
