When I was there in January, I had my waist length hair braided and hair extensions added so that it was past my butt. In Oz, I believe extensions are hair that is free flowing and looks like normal hair but is glued in at the back of your head. But in Bali extensions are added to your braids. I think that is the way it is anyway.
