Blue Lagoon is out by Candi Dasa [actually closer to Padang Bai] but you can get a prahu from the beach at candi just as easy. It is not bad, but nothing overly special.
We have found the best snorkelling at Menjangan Island, but this is more than 1.5 hours away! It is awesome... so many fish..its like swimming in an aquarium. we took 13 and 12 year olds and they found it really easy.
Try and get their early to avoid possible wind.
