I got an ear infection on my honeymoon in Penang, it must have been only slight because I didn't notice until the plane took off. Something wrong with the pressure in the cabin and I ended up with two perforated eardrums and ten days in hospital in Singapore.
The doctors tell me to take Claryntine antihistamine (sp?) or sudafed to clear the tubes to my ears before flying now.
