here- I mean the "sons of the soil" in Borneo.Basically, the people who live or originated from Borneo have very high regard for their colonial masters and this feeling has been passed down through the generations. Even to this present day, most native women when asked, think it is a privelege to be seen with a white man and vice-versa for the opposite sex.However, this syndrome is not just indigenous to Borneo region but also to the more developed region,Singapore where it's been termed as the 'Sarong Party Girl" syndrome.
