have finally found time to do a jbr back now 3 weeks and just in the throes of wishing i was still there. Bali this time for us was a special time we have been together 25 years many ups and downs plus hubby has had a year of bad health. I had suggested the trip late 2004 he wasnt that keen despondant about man probs etc but finally convinced him to just go for the break. We departeded Perth 11th feb flight delayed one hour no biggy just had extra cuppa and posted message on btf. Arrived Denpasar had used the vipvoa so through to baggage collection just as the first of our flight where coming through ,collected our bags and as we had transfers incl. had to wait till others joined us for transfers and you guessed it they where the last ones through.So great service but would only use if perhaps elderly and likely to be confused about the proceedure or if i was arranging own transport.Hotel Harris Resort Kuta room not ready but offered complimentary drink in cafe so settled on some lunch while we waited. Only a wait of about 45minutes just finished our lunch shown to room we where quite surprised as had the impression rooms where a bit cramped but plenty of room for two people king size bed,modern and fresh decor,very clean bathroom and fresh smelling a bit small but certainly functonal,complimentary toileteries and 2 bottles water ,replaced daily.Tea and coffee making,no mini bar but small bar fridge and you are able to purchase all the usual minibar needs from the gift shop and at really good prices.Had shower and headed out to purchase some personnal toiletries headed to matahari in kuta square purchased shampoo, conditioner toothpaste brushes sunscreen talc shower gel, plus heaps cool drinks milk bickies tea and coffee deodorants washing powder and fabric softenener came to about $50aud.Headed back to hotel jumped in a cab fare $2.00au at the hotel we where helped to the room with all of our gear decided to head to the pool. Wiill leave it for now chap here to finish off the patio .
