As usual I cant comment on Bali but I reckon prices will pretty similar to those on Lombok if not even cheaper on Bali as they dont have as far to come (from Surabaya)
I bought a few bikes on Lombok for 1million rupiah each. What I think are called road bikes. They are really nice even with shock absorbers under the seats.
You can get cheaper there were some more basic ones but still good for Rp750,000. (we bought a couple of those too)
All these bikes are much better than the one I got in UK for the equivalnet of 2million
You can also get more expensive/better bikes I am sure they will be a fraction of the price to "back home".
