a broad spectrum antibiotic(have the script filled here)- one that will cover ear infections. Being a swimming family we also take aqua ear drops. Another thing that i always take is the good old fashioned Rawleigh's ointment. It can be used for cuts, as a linament for sore muscles, sore throat, headaches, blocked nose, etc. Drawing ointment for minor infections and if by chance we do get a sore ear, we use it to make a wick. (soak a spiraled tissue or cotton wool and place in the ear.) So far i have been lucky not to have to use the antibiotics.
