Stayed there in oct last year stayed in a family room on second level veiw was part street part discovery shopping centre. try to get a deluxe room as beter view and a bit quieter as the surf club booms across the road. bed (king size) was the best hotel bed comfort wise I have had and made any little downfalls not matter.remember its 3 star and good cheap accom.(not the ritz) staff were friendly just make shaw you get a pool towl as soon as you check in has this was our biggest problem took 3 days until we scored 2 for use. biggest thing that pissed me off were the fellow Aussies that did nothing but whinge about it thinking they were staying somewere well above their budget. you should have a great time remember it just a bed your after....and a swim up bar.
