You don't say where from,type of room or for what time & whether it's high season etc.
It's a bit hard to compare quotes with others unless they are for the exact same place,time/season,length of time and departure point.
For example quotes I was getting for July from Perth in high time (with no special seats available) were quite high & similar in price to what you have listed for Garden View.
If you are able to go at the time when specials are available & you manage to get a seat at this time then yes perhaps hold out until then.
Just look into them soon so that you can book.
The price for Garden View would be considerably cheaper.
