Excessive is an understatement! Has he tried getting the exact same configuration from a few different agents? They'll know you are shopping around because the wholesaler will tell them. But that's alright - it should keep their price down. Also depends on which wholesaler the agent is quoting. Years ago a travel agent quoted us AUS$1,000 more than the nearest quote!!
