I absolutely LOVED that show.You sure have bought back some memories.It was one of my absolute all time favourites.Pity it is still not on these days.I sure wished it was on Foxtel.The kids don't know what they are missing with comedy series like this.
OMG - we asure re both showing our age.How long ago is it now that it finsihed ? Was it still on the mid 80's - I think so.I reckon the granny (& her lover) in the folding bed that disappeared on the wall & the bed pan under the bed scenes where some of the best,let alone the German officer that was a friend of the family.
" I vill zey zis only vunce " ( gee I luv that line - BUT is there ANY chance anyone has ever seen any DVD's of this series in Bali because I would be thrilled to bits if I could get any copies of it.In my opinion I think that this type of British comedy beats current day American comedy anyday.
Gee I am getting to be an old far- <LOL> I talk about MY favourite comedy series like my darling Mum talks about "Johnnie Young & Young talent time " <VBG>
