Had a comment or two in a taxi but always very polite but curious as to why I am on my own "You have husband?" things like that and one time in Kuta Square a group of them wanted to assist me across the traffic there (near Ramayana roundabout so a pain to cross at times) ..... they were so kewt, asking if I have a husband and when I said no they walked out in the middle of the road and halted the traffic for me to cross, it was a real treat (since they were half my age) .... never felt uncomfortable around them, they actually make you feel good, something wonderful about the Balinese and I always feel like smiling inside and out when around them .... you wont have a problem especially choosing a driver that has been recommended on here :)
