Have stayed there 3 times in room & bungalows & have never had a smell..Yes its old & they r doing reno's..There is just a few bungalows by the pool not many..We stay in 417 & 418 (i think) & they r the 2 facing beach & yes about 10 steps out of room on sand.. The location is unbeatable...I would highly recommend it although it is old....
