Most pale-skinned people are going to be sweating profusely in Bali. And more than a few of them are overweight.
My hotel in Cha-am (Thailand) was almost exclusively populated by enormous Scandinavians. At first I thought the pool was surrounded by huge white bean-bags. They were sweating heaps, and it looked like there was plenty more where that came from.
I spoke to the bloke in the next room while we were both on our balconies -- he'd booked for a six week stay, had been there for a couple of weeks already, and said he had rarely left his room because it was too hot. And the week I was in Thailand, I don't think there was a day over 30 degrees.
Anyway, whether the French pervert is the Tennis Player or not... at least there's one less to worry about.
