Lots of orphanages listed on www.carryforkids.org but also do a search for orphanages on this forum as there are others. Usually a good idea to ring in advance (the day before is ok) to let them know you are coming. We went to the Hope Orphanage in Sempidi. We phoned ahead and were met by the children at the door, throwing flower petals and welcoming us. The children then performed some songs and dances for us. A wonderful experience for all. My suggestion would be to visit the wholesale supermarket Macro before you go. We took school books, pens, pencils etc. from Australia but called into Macro to buy rice, milk powder, toiletries and chuppa chups for the children.
